Malcolm Johnson Jr., a four-star wide receiver recruit out of St. Stephens & St. Agnes, Maryland, announced via Twitter that he has officially received an offer from the Texas Longhorns.
Johnson is the 201st ranked prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and is the 36th ranked wide receiver.
Johnson is the 36th-ranked receiver in the nation according to 24/7 Sports, is 6-1 and 185 pounds.
He now holds more than 20 offers including Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.
After losing seniors Collin Johnson and Devin Duvernay – the top two most productive pass-catchers on the team – Texas could certainly use more depth at the position.
